In a retelling of the familiar Aesop's fable, two  dogs, Vincent van Dog and Henri T. LaPooch, meet at art school and become friends, very different friends.  Trouble begins when Henri travels to the country to see his pal, Vincent.   Even a look at the starry night doesn't help!  More disaster ensues when Vincent goes to the city to visit Henri.  Dancing with Can-Can Cats at the  Moulin Rouge is not Vincent's cup of tea!  Friendship prevails as the two dogs agree to meet each year at . . . the beach!
